Device offline
On the paired computer, run gramote doctor, gramote start and gramote status. Keep the machine awake and online. Run gramote run locally for a startup error. Never paste authentication files or credentials into chat.
Pairing expired
Run gramote pair with your local project and label to create a fresh five-minute link. Open it in @gramote_ai and compare the numeric account ID in Telegram with gramote pair-status. Confirm only your own account on the initiating computer.
Wrong device or project
Send /devices to the bot and select the intended device with /use DEVICE. Each local project has its own companion profile. Telegram cannot choose arbitrary local paths.
Codex unavailable
Install Codex from its official distribution and complete codex login locally. Gramote does not accept OpenAI keys or Codex credentials through Telegram or this website.
Expired action or reconnect
Old approval buttons fail safely. Do not try to reuse them. Check the task result and local Codex state before asking for a new action. Use /stop to interrupt an active task.
Remove access and data
Use /revoke DEVICE, /delete_all, or local gramote disconnect. Delete Telegram messages and Codex history using their own controls. See the privacy policy for retention details.
Gramote account
Sign in with Telegram to connect the plugin through OAuth. No separate Gramote password or registration is needed. Existing Telegram control continues to work. To link existing devices, complete a new account-approved pairing with the same Telegram account; use a separate local profile to preserve your current pairing.
