Service

Gramote connects your Telegram account to Codex running on a computer you control. You provide and maintain that computer, its internet connection, a compatible companion, and your Codex access. Linux and macOS are supported by companion 0.1; Windows is not supported. Your computer must remain online.

Your authorization

Pair only devices and repositories you are authorized to control. Confirm the Telegram account ID on your computer before granting access. Protect your Telegram account and local device. Review the exact command or file change before approving it. You are responsible for deciding whether tasks and proposed actions are appropriate for your environment and maintaining your own backups.

Acceptable use

Do not use Gramote to access another person's computer, evade approvals, steal credentials, violate third-party rights or terms, or interfere with the service. Do not submit authentication secrets through bot messages. Telegram, Codex and your model provider remain subject to their respective terms and requirements. Gramote does not represent that it is endorsed by Telegram or OpenAI.

Availability and interruption

Networks and computers can disconnect. Active work is interrupted on connection loss; tasks are not silently retried. After an uncertain failure, inspect the local Codex thread and connection status before repeating a task. A result can be delivered more than once after a transport or server failure. Unsupported approvals or actions too large to review in Telegram are denied and require local interaction.

Revocation and removal

You can revoke individual pairings or all your device mappings through the bot, or disconnect locally. Revocation removes access but does not undo completed actions or delete Telegram messages or Codex history. The operator may restrict abusive access to protect the service.

Data and liability

The privacy policy explains data processing. Gramote provides no guarantee that a generated result is correct or suitable for your intended use. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Applicable mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.
